Dear All,

We are delighted to invite you to the 10th International Conference on Discrete Element Methods (DEM10), which will take place in the picturesque city of Himeji, Japan, from July 1-5, 2025. As part of this landmark event, we are now accepting proposals for mini-symposia.

The Congress Organizers have outlined 13 key focus areas for the scientific content of the conference, detailed below. Nevertheless, we welcome proposals from any area of interest within the field. If your proposal does not align with one of the listed focus areas, please select "Other" when submitting. Proposals must be submitted online by September 10, 2024. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us at “secretariat_dem10@sptj.jp”.

If you wish to organize a mini-symposium, please propose the title and make a short description (within 300 words) including the objective and scope. One slot can accommodate one keynote lecture. Note that if the number of presentations in a mini-symposium is small, it may be merged with another mini-symposium.

We look forward to your innovative contributions and to a vibrant exchange of ideas at DEM10.

Best regards,

The DEM10 Local Organizing Committee
